ANTIQUE WINCHESTER 1885 HIGH WALL ACTION.
Cal. 32-40. S# 55284. Antique Winchester receiver mfg. approx. 1892. Custom Bull 30" bbl. measuring 1 1/8" across face. Top for barrel has 1 scope block w/ plug screws for another. Bottom of barrel has bench rest, stamps showing 1:16 twist, date of custom build 11-21-1977, # 371. Custom walnut buttstock w/ checkered buttplate & tall comb. CONDITION: the in the white barrel shows peppery oxidation throughout with scattered scratches & marks. Action faint case colors with oxidation. Stock shows epoxy filler with contact to action w/ mildew stains throughout & sm. cracks. Near excellent rifling. (01-29025/MD). ANTIQUE. $200-400.
